📢 Important Information
1. Purpose of the Viva Voce

The viva voce is a scholarly dialogue where you discuss your research, demonstrate mastery of your field, and engage in academic discussion with examiners.

Reminder: Examiner reports have been sent to you and your supervisors two weeks prior to this viva.
2. Viva Format & Process
  • You may attend in person or online (Hybrid mode)
  • 15-minute presentation recommended
  • Followed by Q&A session
  • Observers (max 4) may attend remotely as silent participants
3. Technical Requirements (Hybrid/Online)
  • Stable internet connection
  • Test audio & video beforehand
  • Have a backup plan
4. For Examiners & Supervisors

Supervisors: Attend as silent observers only (per CAF Policy).
